Mission Statement:
The Urban Community Empowerment Project Inc. (UCEP) is a 501c3, non-profit organization that provides FREE empowerment services to people living in urban communities. Our aim is to encourage and motivate self-esteem and self-determination for people who are striving to get to the next level in their lives; while they navigate challenges that interfere with achieving goals.
Through personal growth and development, participants will gain better insights to their decision making processes, build self-esteem and confidence. Participants build a foundation to achieving goals, and becoming more productive.
We believe in the potential for personal growth and positive life change. UCEP empowerment services include: support groups, workshops, mentoring and one to one life coaching.

Clientele:
UCEP provides services through (2) venues which allow for a greater reach into the community. We target marginal and at risk individuals in urban areas and provide direct empowerment services; we target groups that are struggling with life challenges and may have difficulty moving forward, specifically, minority young adults, young fathers, seniors, women, victims of gun violence and more.
In addition, we partner with other community organizations that provide direct services to at risk populations. We offer free services in a collaborative effort that support empowerment and positive life change.
Staff:
